This antique Tibetan cabinet has a deep maroon background, with beautiful paintings of different flowers on all the panels. Only the middle two panels open, which is a common design of Tibetan cabinets. The painting and colour on this piece are all original, and only a coat of semi-matte clear lacquer was applied to preserve the original colour.
These cabinets were often made of Pine or Cedar wood, and were used as family altars.
