Tall Red Carved Mirror Frame

A stunning full-height mirror frame in a luscious red colour. The carving in the middle is an antique carving from Zhejiang, and we had added a new frame around it to convert this into a full-height mirror.

The carving features peonies, magpies and an elegantly wavy inner frame. On both ends are carvings of tasseled fruit baskets, and in the centre there is a carved scroll bearing the words “满堂吉庆” (mǎn táng jí qìng), which conveys the wish for the entire household to be filled with joy & good fortune.
