A beautiful set of hand-painted 3-panel foldable screens with gold leaf background, with painting of birds and persimmon tree. In Chinese culture, persimmons symbolise joy, good fortune and longevity. There’s also a lovely saying associated with this fruit: “everything goes according to your wishes”.

When fully extended, the overall length is 120cm. Size per panel = W40 x H180cm.

The back of the screen is black with hand-painted bamboo motifs in gold. As these are all hand-painted, do note that the bamboo designs could vary between sets.
