An old Elmwood wine table from Shandong, China, approx. 80-100 years old. This piece has beautiful original colour and patina, so we could leave it as it is and finish it with just a clear matte lacquer.
In the past they were used mainly for serving drinks, and during banquets, they can be moved around and used as guests’ dining tables. In our modern homes, their compact size makes them great entrance consoles or as a small work desk.
